Atlanta, GA - Porsche felt there needed to be more than one 'driving experience' at their Oktoberfest event recently held at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. What better way to do that than bring in a golf simulator...
Over 600 people including employees, their families and invited guests were in attendance to enjoy a day of beer, brats, schnitzel, 'hot rides' on the test track and golf on the Mobile 19th Hole from Mobile Golf Events. Golfers were able to hit irons and drivers on the golf simulator as well as receive 'driving tips' and instruction from MGE's Founder and PGA Professional, Brett Gorney. He shared, "It was really cool when the event planners at Porsche contacted us to help them create a unique experience for their event. The play on words with "Driving Experience" is quite obvious, but ultimately the whole event was a blast! We were able to add a different element of fun for the golfers, non-golfers and even some of the kids on hand. Even CEO, Klaus Zellmer, was able to get in on the golf experience while his kids 'gave him the gears' for hitting a few errant shots! " Heather Turney, Porsche's Culture & Innovation Manager stated, "The golf simulator was such a huge hit! We heard a lot of people sharing how much fun it was to try and hit to the green and that the fact they could get a few pointers from a PGA Professional." Comments are closed.
