Atlanta, GA - Every Monday during the spring and fall there are 40-50 golf outings going on around the greater Atlanta area...not to mention all of the others all over the state of Georgia. Attracting sponsors has always been essential in raising money for the charity benefactor of the event. Mobile Golf Events has come up with a unique sponsorship opportunity that is making waves. In the golf outing world, the sponsorships that are sold are the key to raising money for the supported organization or charity. Experts say that you don't make money off your entry fees, it's all off of sponsors, auctions and other add-on experiences. Events are always trying to find unique ways to differentiate and attract new sponsors and Brian Riggins, CEO of Magnolia Group, recently shared some valuable insights with Mobile Golf Events founder Brett Gorney. Riggins said, "The golf outings that are doing really well these days are having to turn away companies who want to sponsor them either because there's not enough sponsor opportunities or simply not enough room in the event. Companies are paying to sponsor cart paths, bunkers and even water hazards! Your Mobile 19th Hole presents a really attractive opportunity for a company to support and participate in the event and give golfers another chance at winning some great prizes." Gorney agreed and added, "The other fun spin on the sponsorship is that event organizers can pitch it as their 'Rain Insurance Policy' too! If it rains at the event we can quickly put together a 'Team Closest-to-Pin' contest and keep people around the event. The worst thing that can happen at an event is when you put hundreds of hours of preparation into the event and then Mother Nature rains on your event! It's a reality and happens to a lot of big events but we have a solution to that. Our goal is to create a fun experience and ultimately to help increase the event's bottom line."
Whether its a golf event, party or gala, Mobile Golf Events seems to be on to something here with its unique way to help organizations and charities raise more money! Commercial Real Estate Firms and Property Managers using golf to entertain tenants and brokers5/20/2016
Atlanta, GA - Several commercial real estate companies have been taking advantage of bringing golf experiences on-site to tenant and broker events. From golf simulators to free golf lessons and putt-putt challenges, companies like John Hancock Real Estate and Fairlead CRE have hired Mobile Golf Events to create some mid-afternoon fun for their building tenants. In today's fast-paced work world, more and more companies are looking for ways to give employees, clients and in this case...building tenants, a way to unwind during the day. MGE's Director of Events, Brett Gorney stated, "You are seeing many activities and experiences being brought on-site along with various food and beverage options as well. People love a break from the daily grind. Our new Putt-Putt Challenge holes are a great way to give everybody a chance to have a little fun and competition. Everybody can play putt-putt! Our simulator and swing analysis options are a ton of fun too! The 19th Hole simulator adds a bit more wow-factor and the swing analysis stations are a great way to give people some simple golf instruction." One local company, Concierge Services of Atlanta, has partnered with MGE on several occasions. They are premiere provider of concierge services for over 40 commercial buildings and residential properties in Atlanta. Lisa Whitlow is one of their managers who has hired Mobile Golf Events for multiple events. She says, "Mobile Golf Events goes the extra mile to entertain the tenants at large and small events. People line up to play and come back for more!" "Golf Anywhere" is their motto and it looks like Mobile Golf Events is quickly becoming Atlanta's driving force for providing just that! Atlanta, GA - Mobile Golf Events brought the ultimate 19th Hole experience to the famed parking lot tent at Hooters of Augusta during the 2016 Masters. Throughout the week over 875 golfers took their best shots on the golf simulator for a variety of chances to win big. One lucky winner would be awarded a grand prize pack worth over $2,000 for simply hitting the green in regulation. "The Shottery", as MGE dubbed their 3-ways-to-win contest, had golfers hitting three shots to a 150-yard, Par 3 on their golf simulator. Hit the Green, and golfers were entered into a drawing to win the Grand Prize Pack at the end of the week. Then, every two hours, from 3pm - 11pm, a new "Closet-to-Pin" Winner was crowned and awarded their choice of prizes. Hit a Hole-in-One and cash was king as a "The Shottery" Cash Jackpot that started at $200 was increased by $2 with every entry. One lucky golfer made an ace early in the week on Monday and was pumped to walk away with $370 cash in his pocket. But the Big Winner of the week was Dave Ylitalo from Stillwater, Minnesota. Dave entered the contest just one time, hitting the green, giving him one entry into MGE's Grand Prize Pack Drawing. There ended up being over 450 other qualifying entries for the week and Dave's name was randomly selected on the contest entry app used for the event. Here's what he won...
When he got the call notifying him that we was the big winner he was ecstatic! After receiving all of the prizes, he sent in the photo with all his gear along with this note... "I just wanted to say "THANKS" again to you and your team for a great event and a great prize package! The only way to make a trip to Augusta even better than the Masters itself... Getting a new package everyday has been like Christmas all over again. The Tour Striker, Orange Whip, and GolfGym training products have been fantastic and the $300 in Cobra-Puma gift cards have already been put to great use. My best golf buddy is begging for the TaylorMade M2 Driver - what a BEAST! Thanks again!" - Dave. Brett Gorney, PGA Director of Events for MGE stated, "It was a great week for everyone! Hooters of Augusta had never set up a golf simulator under their big tent before. This is the biggest event they do all year on a national scale and it turned out to be a huge win for everybody. Hooters management and staff were awesome to work with and I've got to give big praises to my team of Howie and Kara for a knockout job all week. Also I want to express a huge thanks to the companies who helped us with all of the prizes we gave away. - Tour Striker, Orange Whip, GolfGym, Cobra-Puma, and TaylorMade. We'll definitely be back next year." Mobile Golf Events is an Atlanta, GA based company run by PGA Professional, Brett Gorney. Armed with the Mobile 19th Hole, Swing Analysis, and Putt-Putt Challenge they've got something for everybody. Corporate events, trade-shows, charity fundraisers, schools, sports arenas, home parties, you name it...they're on a mission to bring "Golf Anywhere." Here's a few more photos from the week's events.
