About Brett...
Brett Gorney has been serving golfers all over the world for over 30 years. His first job in golf was in 1989 when Hiland Golf Club opened in his hometown of Queensbury, NY. After graduating from the PGA Professional Golf Management Program at New Mexico State University in 1995, Brett served as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Champions Club in Omaha, Nebraska and then at Janesville CC in Wisconsin. He shifted his focus to teaching golf and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1998 where he helped oversee the opening and operation of two GolfTEC indoor learning centers.
In 2000, Brett stepped into the international golf scene by accepting a teaching contract at the Discovery Bay Golf Club in Hong Kong. This led to an opportunity to play professional golf where he returned to Atlanta and competed on the 2001 NGA/Hooters Tour while flying back overseas to play in a few Asian PGA Tour events as well. Realizing that his game wasn't quite up to par for tour caliber golf, Brett turned his focus back to teaching and corporate golf events.
Over the past 20+ years, Brett has continued teaching golfers of all abilities, and growing his personal brand. He ran the golf program onboard the Star Princess Cruise Ship during 2007, traveled down under for a teaching contract in Brisbane, Australia in 2011, and in 2013 he helped run the golf operations at Ellington Ridge CC in Connecticut. Brett returned to Atlanta in mid-2014 and Mobile Golf Events was launched in 2015. He also serves on the coaching team for Martin Chuck and the Tour Striker Golf Academy.
Brett's credits his faith, his family and close friends with helping encourage him to succeed in business and in life. In his free time he enjoys getting together with friends, serving in the community, staying active and fit, cooking great meals and traveling the world. In 2014 he created a platform called MISSION 5IVE.14 which encourages people to press into their God-given gifts and talents and use them to serve others and now he's most excited about the launch a new, non-profit called SERVANTEE - Purpose Driven Golf whose mission is to connect and equip golfers to serve organizations and people in need. They organize "Purpose Driven Golf" - Events and Trips that give golfers the opportunity to SERVE and TEE it up together.

In his own words...
"Throughout my career in the golf business the most important lesson I've learned has nothing to do with a little white ball, a good swing and a tiny hole far off in the distance. The most important lesson I've learned from the game of golf revolves around building authentic relationships.
I value and honor my relationships with others above everything else in this world and I'm blessed to be able to use golf as a means to forge and nurture those relationships. Golf has given me the opportunity to travel all over the world and connect with people from all walks of life. It is through these relationships, that I find wisdom, happiness, accountability, strength, encouragement, and a love for serving others.
Golf is a game that reveals character, integrity and the spirit that resides inside of you. It will test your temper, humble you and shake your moral fibers. More importantly, golf allows for companionship with friends and an opportunity to show grace, kindness and generosity to others.
So I encourage you...don't look at golf as just a challenging game that can make you pull your hair out or jump for joy when you hole out from off the green. But look at golf as a way to learn about the people you're spending time with and how you can add value to their life. Look at it as a way to put a smile on someone's face and in their heart. Look at it so that you might ask yourself at the end of your "round of life", what mattered to you most...the big drives and great shots...or the person that remembers you for making a positive impact in their life?"
